I used to plan Venom first version. Wanted another two rackets but the stocks have been exhausted, so I've order Venom II instead. Unfortunately the racket stiffness is not similar to version 1. It seems like they used cheaper carbon this time, making the racket slightly more flexible. Not a deal-break but still, Venom II is the less preferable option compared to version 1.
Venom 2 Despite being a 6U racket. I have a super easy time clearing from back court to backcourt. Defense is great too since the racket is light and coupled medium stiff shaft, flicking back smashes is easy. Smashing power is great compared with 5U-6U rackets I have used in the past, does not contain power to rival 4Us racket smashing power but its' enough to put a lot of pressure on the opponent to close the point. The racket design is awesome, nothing to complain about. I think ppl buy this racket because racket review is raving about this racket, but this racket is for real. Do give this racket a try. Good balance good smash.
Awesome racquets! Took just over a week to get from Malaysia all the way to Texas. Super happy with my purchase, and if I ever need to get more racquets, I will definitely go to badminton bay!

Just had my first session with the Venom 2. It was immediately noticeable that this updated version is more stable than the original venom without loosing any features of the original model. Very happy with the Venom 2 and is better than my racquets twice the price.
