A new dimension graphite, NAMD, is created by attaching nano material directly to the graphite fibre to produce a greatly improved adhesion of the graphite fibre and resin.

This major improvement produces a shaft that flexes and stores energy, delivering explosive force on impact with the shuttlecock.

On high speed video smash comparision, the racket with NAMD shaft makes a longer stroke compare to normal shaft. The result is shuttlecock speed is increased by 7.1%.

NANOMETRIC* improves the bonding strength between the carbon fibres enabling Yonex to take racquet shaft construction to another level. By reducing the amount of carbon in the shaft to make it 60%* thinner than a conventional racquet whilst retaining stiffness, YONEX has created a revolutionary lightweight racquet with lightening head speed and control.

Traditionally, extra weight at the top of the racquet frame has increased hitting power but reduced the speed of racquet handling. In contrast, a lighter top to the frame increases speed but causes a loss of hitting power.

For the first time, the new TRI-VOLTAGE SYSTEM successfully combines the contrasting characteristics of exceptional power and great handling. YONEX has developed a racquet which achieves the combination of heavy smashes and speedy racquet handling.

The stiff racquet structure at the top of the frame allows the head to bend in a very controlled way and hold shuttles on the string bed for longer. The thin frame sides then allow the frame to flex more and transfer more energy to the shuttle. This combination allows you to smash with instant power.

In VOLTRIC, the weight is balanced on the top of the frame and at the joint area which allows good handling while also maintaining power. The thin sides of the frame and at the top of the head reduce air resistance and improve the handling even further. Players can now make a full swing even during short range rallies as VOLTRIC responds instantly to even subtle movements.


ISOMETRIC technology was invented by YONEX to maximize the vital sweet spot area and is now a world leading feature of all badminton rackets.

The square head of the racket means that there are more strings crossing at the right angles, resulting in a bigger sweet spot.

YONEX continues to develop and enhance ISOMETRIC power, reducing still further the ‘inert’ space around the edge of conventional rackets, creating a far bigger sweet spot than other frames.

The secret behind NANORAY's exceptional performance is a unique head construction featuring YONEX's New Aero Frame structure where the frame sides vary in thicknewss between the top and bottom of the head.

The NANORAY frame head design serves 2 different purposes. The Upper Frame's aerodynamics reduces air ressitance and the lower frame's high leel strength increases repulsion power.

NANORAY provides a Fast and Controlled Swing with Enhanced Repulsion.

The thinner top of the frame sides minimize air resistance for greater head speed, while the thicker sides at the bottom of the head generate maximum repulsion through greater frame stiffness.
